Rains will continue in the Dominican Republic for up to two days
The rains will continue the next 24 to 48 hours, so the weather will improve from Sunday, according to the report on Thursday of the national Office of meteorology (ONAMET).
Indicates that the downpours it generates are accompanied by thunderstorms and occasionally isolated gusts of wind, which occur mainly in the afternoon and early hours of the night to the regions North, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Central cordillera.
The Agency points out that the trough that influence over the Dominican Republic, and which is the cause of the heavy rains which occur in the main provinces of the country, has its busiest cloud in waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
In the national district there will be clouds scattered increasing occasionally with scattered downpours and tronadas mainly in the afternoon.
