DR and Venezuela sign agreement for schools
The Ministry of Education (MINERD) and the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the country signed a sponsorship collaboration of three schools in Santo Domingo, Santiago and Bonao.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Education, Josefina Pimentel, and Minister Counselor, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy, Major Francisco Centeno, on behalf of Ambassador Alfredo Murga Rivas, during a ceremony held at the Minerd.
Pimentel said he expects the agreement, in children strengthen processes of identity construction and the creation of a spirit of solidarity, mutual respect and exchange between both countries, and is focused on key issues.
