New ambassador of Spain in Dominican Republic
The Spanish Government it nominated today new Jaime Lacadena Higuera an ambassador in the Dominican Republic.
Lacadena, of 54 years and native of Saragossa, was at present a consul general of Spain in Bogota, I load to which it came after being an ambassador in Nicaragua and general manager of Exterior Politics for Latin America in Jose Maria Aznar's last stage in the Government.
Licensed in Law and diplomat of career, Lacadena already was destined in the Dominican Republic as consul general.
It substitutes at the head of the diplomatic office in Santo Domingo Jaume Segura, who has been less than one year in the position, to which it came after being the director of office of the previous Secretary of State, Trinidad Jiménez.
The Spanish Executive also designated Francisco Javier Elorza representative in San Marino, function that it will recover from his ambassador's post in Rome.
Another appointment was that of Eduardo Gutiérrez Sáenz of Buruaga, who besides ambassador in the Vatican, will be the delegate of Spain before the Sovereign and Military Order of Malta.
