Dominican Republic Immigration Services

immigration

The Dominican Republic.com Immigration Team is made up by lawyers and experts in the field, that have a day to day relationship with the DR immigration offices and staff allowing the streamlining of issues and paperwork that would otherwise take days of painstaking involvement in Government Bureaucracy.

Our experts are available to provide simple immigration advice or assist you in a broader expatriate management package, including relocation, real estate investment consultations, freight consolidation in the port of Miami and customs clearance in Santo Domingo.

Experience
Years of practical experience and proven success in all immigration procedures (visa, residency, nationality, etc.). Complete understanding and hands-on experience in dealing with rules and regulations that you may not otherwise know about until your process of relocating is well underway.

Save time and money. Following up Visa and Residency Permit procedures can be costly and time consuming. Focus your attention on your business activities and let our experts handle all your immigration procedure needs.

Documents that we need from you
1.- Birth Certificate;
2.- 9 photographs (3 front – 3 left – 3 right);
3. Marriage Certificate; Divorce Certificate (if divorced);
4. Properly Completed Residency Request Form, in six originals.

All these documents are translated into Spanish by our in-house Certified Court Interpreters (cost included).

Note: If you come to work for a particular business, a letter from your company certifying your employment is highly recommended. If not we will need to issue a letter of guarantee in your favour, representing an additional cost of US$500.00

We will begin work immediately after we receive your 50% deposit and all the above requested documents.

Duration of Process
Once you arrive in the Dominican Republic, we will have a Certificate of “No Criminal Records” issued by the National Police in your favour and take you to the Medical Department of the Office of Immigration for a Complete Medical Check-up.

Once the process is completed (25-35 days), you will receive your Dominican Residency Permit and an Identification Card will be issued to you by the Central Board of Elections (you will not have the right to vote).
